广昌驿前镇，因南宋绍兴八年建驿站于此，专供朝廷兵马传递文书和商贾歇息而逐渐发展，在明末清初达到鼎盛。驿前镇现存有明清古建筑50多处，建筑结构独特，被誉为“历史最悠久、建筑最精良、格局最完美”的江南规模最大的古建筑群之一。
Yiqian Town of Guangchang County gradually developed due to the establishment of an inn in 1138 in the Southern Song Dynasty, dedicated to the transmission of documents by soldiers and horses of the government and the rest of merchants. It reached the peak in the late Ming and early Qing Dynasty. There are more than 50 ancient buildings of the Ming and Qing Dynasty in Yiqian Town with unique architectural structures. It is known as one of the largest complexes of ancient buildings in the south of the Yangtze River with the longest history, the most sophisticated architecture and the most perfect pattern.
